First Co. Products Coil Calc - 2007 Edition

The 2007 edition extends the capabilities of the most comprehensive coil selection program in the industry with the addition of the new WH Series units and CW Series units.

Click on Download Now to download your copy of the program.

When the download window appears, select Save (not Open). Specify the name of the folder in which you want to save First5Setup.exe - typically Mydocuments - or Desktop.

Make a mental note of the download location (folder) for First5Setup.Exe. The most common locations are your Desktop or My Documents but any folder can be specified.

After the download is complete, go to the folder in which First5Setup.exe is located and run First5setup.exe (by double clicking on it) . The needed files will automatically be extracted and the Setup program will begin the installation.

Note: During installation, messages may pop up indicating that a newer version of a file to be copied already exists on your computer. If you see that message, click the appropriate button to indicate that you want to use the newer version. 

After installation is complete, the contents of the folder holding the downloaded files can be deleted.

Note: The downloaded file name is First5Setup.exe and the file size is approximately 5 megabytes. Download times will vary and may be lengthy if you have a slow Internet connection.


The first time you run the program, proceed to the Setup and your name and address information. The following serial number is pre-entered:

FC51000

If you are currently using the previous version of the program, note that you cannot upgrade your current version, nor copy existing projects into the new version.

You should keep your current copy of the previous version (in the event you need to access an existing project), install the new version, and use the new version for any new projects.

To start the program click on Start - Programs - First5. To place an icon on your desktop, instead of clicking on the First5 program icon to start the program, hold your mouse button down and drag First5 onto your desktop.
